The CVBS video overlay controller developed by Ning Pengda Technology is a video signal processing and control product. Its main function is to process the input CVBS video signal, enabling the output CVBS video signal to display specific characters and graphics at designated positions on the screen. Visually, it appears as if the characters and graphics are "overlaid" onto the video image. In general applications, character and graphic overlays are primarily used for menu operations, logo display, numerical display, scale marking, or screen segmentation. With the increasing variety of video products and the expansion of application fields, overlaying characters and graphics onto the original video image can enhance product functionality and improve user experience for many video products. Using this product to achieve the overlay function does not involve modifications to the video signal source, video display hardware or software, or editing of video content. Therefore, this product is not only suitable for the development of new products but can also be used for upgrading existing equipment. This product is meticulously crafted using the latest semiconductor devices combined with modern electronic assembly processes, offering advantages such as stable performance, compact size, and easy installation. The functionality of this product is achieved by directly processing analog video signals. The video output signal is real-time synchronized with the video input signal. Additionally, this product employs special technology, providing outstanding advantages compared to similar products on the market, including no damage to the input signal, no delay in output response, no flicker in overlay content, high signal processing precision, and the ability to achieve semi-transparent and automatic reverse effects. Furthermore, this product can also replace discontinued OSD chips such as MB90092, M35055, μPD6453, μPD6464A, MAX7456, MTV018, STV5730A, and LC74788. Compared to traditional OSD chips, this product offers richer overlay content, greater flexibility, lower customization thresholds, and higher cost-effectiveness. It also addresses the limitations of traditional OSD chips, which cannot overlay full-screen continuous lines, extremely fine lines, or large-area graphics. This product can overlay various characters and graphics, and the overlay content, position, spacing, grayscale, display format, adjustment range, and other supporting functions can be customized according to customer requirements. This product is available in three forms: component type, board type, and device type. All products are compatible with PAL and NTSC systems and suitable for various display ratios. The video interface, control interface, power interface, and related parameters can be customized based on the customer's specified video signal source, video display screen, actual application scenario, and functional requirements.
