Product Description:Sikaflex-291 sealant is a one-component polyurethane sealant specifically developed for the marine market, with excellent sag resistance. It cures by reacting with moisture in the air to form a stable elastomer. Sikaflex-291 sealant is manufactured in accordance with the ISO9001/14001 quality assurance system. Marine Multi-Purpose Sealant Sikaflex-291 Application Range: Sikaflex-291 sealant is a versatile sealant used in marine structures. It is suitable for forming elastic anti-vibration joints, bonding teak decks, and sealing various interior and exterior decorations. Sikaflex-291 can bond substrates commonly used in shipbuilding: wood, metal, metal primers, topcoats (two-component), ceramic materials, and plastics (GRP, etc.). Sikaflex-291 sealant should not be used to seal plastics that are prone to stress cracking (such as acrylic, polycarbonate, etc.). After curing, Sikaflex-291 sealant can be easily sanded off if needed.
