Hot melt extrusion welding is a method that uses a hot air extrusion welding tool to first heat both ends of the pipe to be connected. The welding gun extrudes molten polyethylene material, fusing the polyethylene materials at both ends of the connection seam into a single unit. This method belongs to rigid connection.

Extrusion welding is based on the fundamental principle of molecular thermal motion. The extrusion welding gun heats the PE welding rod (transforming it from a solid state into a viscous fluid) and extrudes it. Simultaneously, the hot air gun equipped on the welding gun heats the welding surface of the PE pipe to be welded. Under external force, the PE materials at both ends of the seam adhere to each other, achieving excellent diffusion and interweaving, thereby connecting the pipes into one and achieving the welding effect.
