Overview of Inconel 718 Characteristics and Application Areas: This alloy exhibits excellent comprehensive properties within the temperature range of -253 to 700°C, with the highest yield strength among wrought superalloys below 650°C. It also possesses good fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as excellent processability and weldability. It can be used to manufacture various complex-shaped components and has found extremely wide applications in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industries, and extrusion molds within the aforementioned temperature range.
