●C17500 Characteristics and Applications:

C17500 beryllium cobalt copper has excellent cold working properties and good hot working properties. C17500 beryllium cobalt copper is mainly used for fuse clips, fasteners, spring switches, and relay components.

After solution and aging treatment, it exhibits high strength, hardness, elastic limit, and fatigue limit, with low elastic hysteresis. It is also corrosion-resistant (beryllium copper alloy corrosion rate in seawater: (1.1-1.4) × 10?2 mm/year. Corrosion depth: (10.9-13.8) × 10?3 mm/year.). After corrosion, the strength and elongation of the beryllium copper alloy remain unchanged, allowing it to last over 40 years in seawater. In sulfuric acid media: beryllium copper has an annual corrosion depth of 0.0012-0.1175 mm in sulfuric acid concentrations below 80% (room temperature), with slightly accelerated corrosion at concentrations above 80%. It features wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, non-magnetic properties, high electrical conductivity, and no sparking upon impact.
