It employs advanced photocatalytic oxidation technology, utilizing specific light sources to excite dual bands—185nm and 273.5nm—significantly enhancing catalytic activity and effectiveness. This process generates a greater number of highly oxidative hydroxyl radicals, which decompose bacteria, viruses, microorganisms, organic matter, and other contaminants in water bodies. It improves the efficacy of water disinfection and sterilization, ensuring that the treated water quality meets national standards for drinking water, swimming pool water, and other industrial water applications.

The AOT photocatalytic disinfection equipment consists of ultraviolet preparation, dual-band ultraviolet lamps (185nm and 253.7nm), a controller, and other components. The 185nm band produces ozone, which has strong oxidative catalytic properties, generating hydroxyl radicals. Through full contact with ultraviolet light, a catalytic reaction occurs, causing water molecules to lose hydrogen atoms and form hydroxyl radicals (OH radicals). These hydroxyl radicals mix with the water to be treated, leveraging their strong oxidative capacity during the reaction to degrade bacteria, viruses, microorganisms, organic matter, and other pollutants. High-molecular and large-molecular organic compounds are broken down into smaller molecular compounds, eventually forming CO? and H?O, achieving a sterilization rate of up to 99%.

Hydroxyl radicals directly disrupt cell membranes, rapidly destroying cellular structures. This achieves thorough decomposition of bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms in water.
