Belt Return Scraper Cleaning Box should be installed in a location convenient for inspection and maintenance. The box must have an observation door that is easy to open, and it should be well sealed to prevent air leakage, powder spraying, and water leakage. All cleaners should have an automatic gap compensation function and should not require regular manual adjustments. The service life of each cleaner, excluding wear parts, should be no less than 5,000 hours of continuous operation.

The return belt cleaning box must have an interlocking function with the belt conveyor system, ensuring that the intelligent cleaning device starts operating when the belt conveyor is running (the system detects whether the belt is running and interlock it with the cleaning box operation). The supplier must provide necessary signal indicators on the local control box, including: local control, remote control, overload signal, running signal, start signal, and stop signal. The belt cleaning box should be capable of both programmable control and local control, and the accompanying control box should have control signal interfaces. A "Remote/Local" selector switch should be installed on the control box, allowing on-site switching. When the selector switch is in the "Remote" position, the belt cleaning box control system should be able to receive start and stop commands from the PLC control system. An emergency stop button should be provided, which bypasses the selector switch, meaning that regardless of the selector switch position, the operator can trigger an emergency shutdown on-site in case of an accident. The electrical control box should have display, alarm, and interlock protection functions, connected to the PLC control system via hard wiring, and provide necessary signals such as fault alarms to the PLC system. The PLC control system should enable display, alarm, control, and interlock protection functions.

The entire cleaning device has a power rating of 4 kW, with a plate thickness of 6 mm or more, a water consumption of 100 L/h, and a water pressure of 2 Bar.

All rotating parts of the cleaning device must rotate smoothly without any jamming. Lubricated parts must be well sealed to prevent grease leakage. The temperature rise of bearings should generally not exceed 35°C, and the bearing temperature should not exceed 75°C.

The cleaning and removal rate of residual materials on the belt should be no less than 85%.

All exposed rotating parts should be equipped with protective covers that are easy to remove.

The cleaning device must be tightly sealed to prevent water mist and sewage splashing, and it should include an inspection door.

Wastewater generated by the cleaning device must be effectively collected and directly reused, with no sewage discharge. The resulting residue should be automatically lifted to the upper part of the belt and directly dropped onto the belt to be carried away with the material.

Cleaning module: consists of a housing, a water spray softening system, and a cleaning scraping system. The main body should be equipped with a manhole door for inspection and maintenance, facilitating the replacement, inspection, and cleaning of wear parts, while ensuring the sealing of the manhole door.

Both remote control from the control room and local control methods should be provided. The local control box should reserve a remote control interface for interlocking with the belt system. All on-site control cabinets must meet dust protection requirements.
