Longitudinal tearing is a common damage in conveyor belts, and in severe cases, the entire belt can be completely penetrated. Without effective repair materials to reinforce it, the conveyor belt operates under uneven local tension, which can easily lead to the expansion of the damage.

Traditional hot vulcanization repair requires the use of large vulcanizing machines, which is extremely inconvenient, costly, and inefficient. Using conventional adhesives for repair is only temporarily effective and cannot solve the problem of penetrating damage.

Belt repair strips are used for repairing longitudinal tears in various types of conveyor belts and for sealing cold vulcanization joints. When used in conjunction with cold vulcanization adhesives, they are suitable for repairing longitudinal scratches, edge damage, and tears in rubber conveyor belts, as well as sealing cold vulcanization overlaps (belt joints).

Repair strips are a relatively advanced material for conveyor belt repair. Their characteristics include a semi-vulcanized layer, which provides ultra-strong adhesion to the belt, high tensile strength, quick repair, simple operation, time-saving, and immediate use after repair. They are suitable for repairing long-distance scratches, penetrating scratches, and edge wear on conveyor belts, as well as local rubber layer damage repair and sealing of cold seamless overlaps.
