Through the ingenious design of the internal structure of the kitchen grease interceptor, it ensures that, without any external power, when oily wastewater flows continuously and synchronously (oil and water at the same speed, i.e., relative turbulent flow) through the special device of this product, oil droplets utilize the kinetic energy from the high-speed flow of the wastewater to continuously collide, growing from small to large, thereby accelerating movement. This causes oil and water of different specific gravities to separate, stratify, and ultimately achieve the purpose of oil-water separation.

II. Installation and Usage Instructions for Kitchen Grease Interceptor The grease interceptor is a simple, low-cost, high-efficiency, non-powered pre-treatment purification system for catering oily wastewater developed and produced by our company. Made entirely of stainless steel, it is aesthetically pleasing, practical, high-strength, long-lasting, compact, small in size, fast in oil-water separation, high in separation accuracy, and easy to install and use. It is widely used in hotels, restaurants, and canteen kitchens for oily wastewater treatment. Installation methods and considerations: It can be installed on the ground, semi-underground, or fully underground. Based on the actual site conditions, simply connect the inlet and outlet pipes for use. If site conditions permit, it is recommended to add valves at both the inlet and outlet to control water flow for easier operation. The grease interceptor is equipped with a stainless steel filter basket, which has excellent grating functionality. When food residues, debris, and other suspended solids enter the grease interceptor tank, they can be effectively intercepted. Simply pull out the filter basket from the tank periodically for cleaning. If, after prolonged use, the filter basket becomes clogged with excessive solidified grease blocking the mesh, remove the filter basket, rinse it with hot water to clear the mesh, and then reinsert it. Generally, clean every 3–5 days or as needed based on actual conditions. Depending on usage, if the surface layer of grease in the grease interceptor tank exceeds 5 cm in thickness, the waste oil can be cleaned. If valves are installed at the inlet and outlet, this method can be used: When cleaning waste oil, temporarily close the outlet valve and open the inlet valve to continue filling the tank, thereby raising the oil layer's liquid level and allowing the oil layer to naturally overflow over the weir plate into the oil discharge channel. When the oil layer thins to about 1 cm, open the drainage valve to drain water and restore the original water level in the tank. Alternatively, this method can be used: Open the cover plate and use a scraper to directly remove the grease into the grease collection channel for cleaning.
