The crankshaft case is divided into upper and lower parts; the upper crankshaft case, also referred to as the top of the cylinder block, is closely connected to the cylinders, while the lower crankshaft case contains the crankshaft, main bearings, connecting rod bearings, and other transmission devices.

2. Internal Components: Inside the air compressor crankshaft case, key components such as the crankshaft, connecting rods, bearings, and bushings are installed. The crankshaft is a critical part that converts the rotational motion of power sources like electric motors or diesel engines into the reciprocating motion of the pistons. This system directs steam mixed with lubricating oil and a small amount of escaped gas through the ventilation pipeline to an oil mist separator for treatment, after which it is either recirculated into the system or discharged into the atmosphere.

5. Maintenance and Inspection: The crankshaft case is often designed with inspection windows or access holes, allowing operators to check the condition of the internal lubricating oil and component wear, and to perform necessary maintenance and repairs when required.
