The formula for calculating the tree circumference: Tree diameter * 3.14 equals tree circumference + 10 cm for the lock equals the total length of the tree lock required.

For trees with a diameter of 10 cm, a 40 cm long plastic tree tag can be used.

For trees with a diameter of 12 cm, a 50 cm long plastic tree tag can be used.

For trees with a diameter of 15 cm, a 60 cm long plastic tree tag can be used.

For trees with a diameter of 19 cm, a 70 cm long plastic tree tag can be used.

The plastic tags come in four fixed lengths: 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, and 70 cm. For thicker trees, only steel wire tags can be used. The length of steel wire tags can be custom-made and extended to different lengths as needed.
