Principle of Chemical Chiller

Chemical chillers typically use a compression refrigeration cycle.

The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas, then enters the condenser, where it exchanges heat with the cooling medium (usually water or air), dissipating heat and turning the refrigerant into a high-pressure liquid.

The high-pressure liquid passes through a throttling device (such as an expansion valve) to reduce pressure and temperature, becoming a low-temperature, low-pressure wet vapor, which then enters the evaporator.

In the evaporator, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the medium that needs cooling in the process (such as reaction materials, circulating water, etc.), thereby achieving the refrigeration effect.

The refrigerant again becomes a low-pressure gas, which is sucked in by the compressor to start the next cycle.
