Inorganic Thermal Insulation Mortar Type II is a high-performance insulation material primarily used for interior and exterior wall plastering of buildings. Its main components include cement, quartz sand, expanded perlite, and silicate microspheres, which endow the mortar with low thermal conductivity, high compressive strength, excellent impermeability, and good crack resistance.

Technical Parameters and Application Scope

Density: The dried density is generally around 400 kg/m3.

Thermal Conductivity: Typically ranges between 0.06-0.08 W/(m·K).

Compressive Strength: Generally between 2-5 MPa.

Impermeability: Can withstand water pressure up to 0.3 MPa.

Crack Resistance: Excellent crack resistance, effectively preventing mortar cracking and detachment.

Durability: Can be used long-term within a temperature range of -50°C to 80°C.

Application Scope and Construction Methods

Inorganic Thermal Insulation Mortar Type II is suitable for insulation projects involving various building walls, roofs, floors, and pipelines, and is widely used in residential buildings, industrial plants, public structures, and other fields. Its construction methods include the following steps:

Base Treatment: Ensure the base surface is free of dust, oil stains, and any debris that may affect bonding performance.

Interface Agent Treatment: Mix the specialized interface agent with a water-to-cement ratio of 1:4 until uniform, then apply it to the base layer with a thickness of approximately 3 mm.

Mortar Mixing: Mix the inorganic thermal insulation mortar with a water-to-cement ratio of 4:5.5 into a slurry, ensuring it is thoroughly blended and free of lumps.

Plastering Application: Apply the inorganic thermal insulation mortar in layers; for thicknesses exceeding 2 cm, apply in multiple passes with intervals of at least 24 hours between layers.

Curing and Protective Layer Construction: After application, cure the insulation mortar for 3-5 days. Upon completion of curing, waterproofing treatment is recommended, followed by the application of a protective layer.
