30mm thick EVB inorganic thermal insulation mortar

EVB inorganic thermal insulation mortar is a new type of energy-saving mortar material used for plastering interior and exterior walls of buildings. It offers excellent properties such as energy conservation, waste utilization, thermal insulation, fire and frost resistance, and aging resistance. It is also low-cost and has broad market demand.

Composition and Properties

EVB inorganic thermal insulation mortar is mainly composed of EVB particles, high-quality cement, and polymer modifiers. It has excellent thermal insulation, aging and weather resistance, and fire resistance. It does not crack or hollow, has high strength, good adhesion and anti-sag performance, and resists insect and ant erosion. Its thermal conductivity is 0.0284–0.054 W/m·K, compressive strength is ≥0.8 MPa, and linear shrinkage rate is ≤0.15%.

Application Scenarios

EVB inorganic thermal insulation mortar is suitable for various building structures, including exterior insulation layers with coatings or tile finishes, internal and external wall insulation, roof insulation, and industrial thermal insulation. It is particularly suitable for thermal insulation retrofitting of old buildings, house insulation in new rural construction, and solving indoor overheating caused by sun-exposed walls.

Construction Method

Base layer treatment: Ensure the base surface is free of dust, oil, and any debris that may affect adhesion.

Interface agent treatment: Mix the specialized interface agent for the insulation system at a water-cement ratio of 1:4 until uniform, then apply it to the base layer with a thickness of about 3mm.

Mixing and application: Mix the EVB thermal insulation mortar at a water-cement ratio of 1:1 until uniform, then apply it directly to the interior or exterior walls. The mixed mortar should be used within 2 hours, and dried mortar must not be used.
