Measurement Principle

The blue-green algae/algae density sensor utilizes the characteristic that blue-green algae/algae density has absorption and emission peaks in the spectrum. It emits monochromatic light of a specific wavelength into the water. The blue-green algae/algae density in the water absorbs the energy of this monochromatic light and releases monochromatic light of another wavelength. The intensity of the light emitted by the blue-green algae/algae density is proportional to the content of blue-green algae/algae density in the water.
