The WRS-CBS11X series cable online fault warning and positioning system developed by our company conducts real-time online monitoring of cable operating conditions, collects transient traveling waves and steady-state components during cable operation, analyzes and processes them to predict cable operating conditions, provides alarm and fault diagnosis information for faulty cables, monitors the insulation status of cables, issues warnings for permanent faults, and achieves fault location and fault line selection. It provides a reliable basis for condition-based maintenance, making it possible to transition cable lines from traditional periodic maintenance to condition-based maintenance. Orange Warning: When dozens of waveforms are triggered daily, the system issues an orange warning. Users should arrange maintenance as soon as possible. The discharge amount for instantaneous arcing is approximately 3,000–5,000 microcoulombs.
Red Warning: Trigger frequency increases rapidly, and the cable is likely to fail soon (within 24 hours). The system enters a red warning state, and users should immediately conduct a power outage for maintenance. The discharge amount for instantaneous arcing is approximately 5,000–8,000 microcoulombs. Additionally, if the cable suffers irreversible external damage (e.g., mechanical damage such as being cut), the system directly reports a red warning for the faulty line.
