Bamboo Flooring Mold Inhibitor Safety

To verify the safety of the Bamboo and Wood Flooring Mold Inhibitor, 18 tests were conducted. The results showed that its safety has been certified by the stringent US Environmental Protection Agency and the EU REACH environmental regulation.

Usage Method
1. Treatment Operation:
A. To ensure anti-mold and anti-insect effects after treatment, bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products should gain 10%-20% in weight after soaking in the solution.
B. Fully immerse bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products in the prepared solution (do not expose to air). After gaining 10%-20% in weight, remove and drain the solution. Air-dry or sun-dry before packaging and storage.

C. For spray application, mix with water at a ratio of 1:15, stir evenly, and spray directly onto the surface of bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products, or apply with a brush. Ensure the agent fully covers the wood surface, then allow to air-dry or wind-dry naturally.
D. The prepared solution is stable and can be reused without disposal. After diluting the bamboo and wood mold inhibitor at a 1:15 ratio with water, use within one month if possible.
2. After treatment via soaking or spraying, bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products with a moisture content below 25% will maintain anti-mold effectiveness for over one year, regardless of harsh environmental conditions.
3. Packaging and Storage: 25Kg/drum. Store in a dry, dark place. Valid for 3 years. Custom packaging available upon request.

Dilution Method
Soaking solution prepared at a ratio of 1:15 (1Kg wood mold inhibitor : 15kg water)

Precautions
1. After diluting the agent with water at a 1:15 ratio, shake well before use (sedimentation is normal after prolonged storage; shake before use). Use the diluted product within one month.
2. This product meets REACH environmental requirements. The concentrate has high solid content, and direct skin contact may cause allergies in some individuals. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves during use.

Mold Growth Resistance Test Method:
Test method for the efficacy of mold inhibitors against wood mold and discoloration fungi GB/T18261-20132. Prepare two pieces of wood: one fully treated with iHeir-JP bamboo and wood mold inhibitor, and the other untreated or treated with a comparable mold inhibitor. Package both and place in a dark, humid environment. Observe after 7-15 days. For rapid testing, place both wood samples in Petri dishes with agar, then into a constant temperature and humidity chamber set at 90% RH and 28°C. Results can be obtained within 3-7 days.
