Time-Based Billing Principle:

The time-based billing system uses the activation of the air conditioning host, water valve, and fan coil unit as the basic conditions for metering. It accumulates the effective operating time of the fan coil unit based on different fan speed settings. This serves as the basis for calculating individual household air conditioning usage charges, taking into account the operational and management costs of the air conditioning system.

Energy-Based Billing Principle:

The energy-based billing system meters usage by household or zone. An air conditioning energy meter of corresponding caliber is installed on the relevant air conditioning water pipe. Based on the thermodynamic principle of "heat exchange," it calculates the cooling (or heating) energy exchanged during the user's use of the central air conditioning system by measuring flow rate and the temperature difference between supply and return pipes, using thermodynamic energy calculation formulas. This serves as the basis for calculating individual household air conditioning usage charges, taking into account the operational and management costs of the air conditioning system.

Time + Energy-Based Billing Principle:

The time + energy-based billing system combines the characteristics of both time-based and energy-based billing systems. Depending on the actual project requirements, an air conditioning energy meter is installed on the main pipeline of a floor or zone to measure the total usage of that floor or zone. Time-based billing devices are installed on each user's fan coil unit within the floor or zone. Using the activation of the air conditioning host, water valve, and fan coil unit as the basic conditions for metering, it accumulates the effective operating time of the fan coil unit based on different fan speed settings. The total meter reading of the floor or zone is then allocated to each fan coil unit based on the time used, calculating the air conditioning usage for each unit. This serves as the basis for calculating individual household air conditioning usage charges, taking into account the operational and management costs of the air conditioning system.
