Overview

The automotive wire abrasive belt wear testing machine is suitable for testing the insulation wear resistance of polyvinyl chloride insulated low-voltage cables used in automobiles. It serves as a testing instrument for automotive wire production, complying with standards such as JIS C 3406, JASO D 611, and GB/T-25085-2010/ISO6722:2006.

This wear testing machine is applicable to wires with conductor specifications not exceeding 6 square millimeters. It uses garnet abrasive belts labeled 150J (the material of the abrasive belt may vary depending on the standard). The abrasive belt features conductive strips perpendicular to its edge, each 10mm long, with a maximum spacing of 75mm between strips. The spacing can also be customized to 150mm based on customer requirements. An appropriate bracket on the shaft arm ensures the sample remains stable and always positioned on an unused area of the abrasive belt. The total force applied to the sample by the bracket, support rod, and shaft arm is 0.63±0.05N.
