Function and Application Areas
The OBO LSA-Plus is specifically designed for multi-wire system protection. For example, in measurement and control engineering, telephone exchange systems, or even in ten-pair (TC) systems, only one protector (basic protection) LSA-B-MAG is needed. The LSA-BF module provides protection for one pair of wires.
The basic and fine protection type protector LSA-BF180 (180V type) is particularly used in analog telephone exchange and ISDN network systems. The basic and fine protection type surge protector LSA-BF24 is specifically designed for computer systems, measurement, and control systems.
The protection circuit of the LSA-Plus consists of a robust three-electrode gas discharge tube. Basic and fine protection is based on automatic fail-safe technology, which activates during a thermal overload event by short-circuiting both ends of the surge protection component to provide protection.
Installation
LSA connecting wires or insulation are simply fixed to the mounting bracket via a clamping device, meaning they can be installed on almost any wall. Using the LSA-Plug tool, wires can be connected without cutting, soldering, stripping, or screwing.
