This product is flexible in application and can form various optical fiber networks. With its logically independent dual-bus electrical interface, it enables backup of electrical interfaces or single-device access to dual-redundant bus systems; when using a point-to-point network, it can connect two Profibus DP bus segments via optical fiber; when using a dual optical port chain network, it enables multi-segment Profibus DP bus connections (up to 200 segments) on the optical fiber bus.
