High-Strength Corrosion-Resistant Pre-Hardened Stainless Steel

Properties:

SUS630 is a Japanese steel grade. SUS630 martensitic stainless steel is characterized by high hardness, high strength, and corrosion resistance. Particularly, it is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel and is among the hardest of all types of stainless steels. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the steel are further improved, achieving a strength of 1100-1300 MPa. This grade cannot be used at temperatures above 300°C or at very low temperatures. SUS630 exhibits good corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions, diluted acids, or salts. Its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of grades 304 and 430. It is currently widely used in valves, shafts, and the chemical fiber industry for high-strength components requiring certain corrosion resistance.

Mechanical Properties:

Applications:

1.SUS630 stainless steel plates are suitable for manufacturing plastic and rubber molds requiring high corrosion resistance and high wear resistance;

2.SUS630 stainless steel material is suitable for manufacturing plastic molds for semiconductor IC encapsulation and mold components requiring corrosion and rust resistance;

3.SUS630 stainless steel round bars are suitable for turbine blades, nozzles, valves, ruler blades, high corrosion-resistant bearing parts, and high wear-resistant equipment components;

4.SUS630 stainless steel material is suitable for manufacturing high corrosion-resistant mold equipment in the food industry, offshore platforms, etc.

Due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, SUS630 is also widely used in petrochemicals, nuclear power, aerospace and military, shipbuilding, automotive, medical, and other industries.

Supply Condition and Delivery Hardness:

SUS630 stainless steel bars/plates/round steel/round bars/steel materials/modules are supplied in a pre-hardened condition, with a delivery hardness of approximately 37-41 HBW.

Heat Treatment Process:

1.Solution treatment at 1020-1060°C, rapid cooling

2.Aging at 480°C: after solution treatment, air cooling at 470-490°C

3.Aging at 550°C: after solution treatment, air cooling at 540-560°C

4.Aging at 580°C: after solution treatment, air cooling at 570-590°C

5.Aging at 620°C: after solution treatment, air cooling at 610-630°C.
