Vacuum Feeder is a type of vacuum conveyor that uses a vacuum generator as the vacuum source. This vacuum feeding machine can directly transport materials from containers into mixers, reactors, hoppers, tablet presses, packaging machines, vibrating screens, granulators, wet granulators, dry granulators, and crushers. It reduces the labor intensity of workers, eliminates dust pollution, and ensures compliance with "GMP" requirements.

Working Principle:

The vacuum feeder uses a vacuum pump to generate system negative pressure, with the Roots blower serving as the air extraction device. When the blower is activated, high-speed airflow is generated in the pipeline, and materials in the small hopper are sucked into the conveying pipeline and transported to the gas-solid separation chamber. Centrifugal force and filters are used for gas-solid separation. Under gravity, the materials fall into the large hopper and are evenly discharged to the next process, such as the mixing pot, via a star-type discharge valve. The gas is discharged from the blower side through the filter element. The system is equipped with an offline dust cleaning system, enabling continuous material conveying, improving production efficiency, and minimizing dust pollution. The entire conveying process is enclosed, preventing powder leakage and effectively improving the working environment. It occupies minimal space, can convey powder in narrow spaces, enhances the aesthetics of the workspace, and is not limited by distance.

Abnormal Conditions and Handling Methods:

1. Check whether the pressure gauge of the compressed reverse blowing airbag shows pressure and whether the vacuum pump has negative pressure;

2. If material leakage is observed from the exhaust port of the vacuum pump, check whether the filter element in the vacuum hopper is loose or damaged. If the filter element is loose, tighten the nut on the filter element with a wrench; if damaged, replace it with a new filter element.

Equipment Maintenance Requirements:

1. Regularly inspect the vacuum hopper filter element based on usage. If severe clogging or damage is found, replace it with a new filter element;

2. Regularly check the oil level in the Roots blower gearbox. If the oil level is below the warning line, refill it promptly! Regularly lubricate the motor bearings;

3. Before starting the machine daily, check whether the screws on the pneumatic valve of the vacuum hopper are loose and whether the air hose is leaking;

4. Regularly inspect and clean the secondary filter element.
