Yintian Propylene Glycol Butyl Ether PNB is an environmentally friendly alcohol ether solvent with low water solubility and good binding force. Application Areas:
1. Propylene Glycol Butyl Ether PNB is a green, environmentally friendly high-grade solvent widely used in coatings, cleaning agents, inks, leather, and more. In the coatings industry, it serves as a solvent for alkyd resins, epoxy resins, acrylic resins, polyester paints, etc., offering excellent solubility, high gloss of the paint film, good leveling, and strong adhesion. In inks, it allows formulations to become water-soluble, reducing ink toxicity, improving the working environment, and enhancing printing quality. In dye dissolution processes, it replaces alcohol solvents with good solubility and acts as a coupling agent.
2. PNB can be used to formulate concentrated cleaning agents with excellent results and is also used as a solvent in household sprays. In new brake fluids, PNB content can be as high as 40% or more, making it one of the main components of brake fluid.
3. It is also used in multicolor coatings, photosensitive adhesives, PS plate cleaning, printing, electronic chemicals, jet engine fuel additives (waterproofing agents), extractants, and more.
4. PNB can replace ethylene glycol ethers such as ethylene glycol butyl ether (BCS anti-blushing agent) and diethylene glycol ether in various fields.
