The telescopic rod-type X and γ radiation survey meter, also known as the long-rod radiation meter, is used for tasks such as radioactive source search, primarily for measuring X and γ rays. The long rod is designed to keep the operator as far away from the radiation source as possible, providing protection. The telescopic rod distance is ergonomically designed to facilitate operator handling.
YD-700 Telescopic Rod-Type X and γ Radiation Survey Meter consists of a detector unit, telescopic rod, handle, and main unit, and can be used to measure γ rays in radioactive environments. The instrument is equipped with a telescopic rod up to 1.9 meters long, suitable for measuring γ-ray dose rates in special environments with strong radioactivity that are difficult, impossible, or inconvenient for personnel to access. During measurement, the probe communicates with the main unit via wireless transmission, and the main unit processes, displays, and alarms the data. It is applicable to environmental protection departments, nuclear industry sites, and other workplaces where radioactive sources exist and require monitoring, search, and measurement.
