Nickel-based alloys possess a high content of alloying elements such as Cr, Ni, Mo, etc., and maintain excellent overall performance in high-temperature and highly corrosive environments. For instance, they exhibit strong resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, outstanding high-temperature corrosion and stress corrosion resistance, and some even demonstrate good corrosion resistance in both reducing and oxidizing media. They are widely used in flue gas desulfurization equipment for thermal power generation, wastewater treatment; chemical, petrochemical, and marine development industries for the production of chemicals with strong media corrosion and harsh environments, as well as in the manufacturing of heaters, heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers, and pipelines; in the energy sector for nuclear power generation, comprehensive utilization of coal, and tidal power generation; in marine environments for marine structures, seawater desalination, aquaculture, and seawater heat exchange; and in the food industry for salt production and soy sauce brewing.
