An instrument for determining octane number/cetane number. Its features include: utilizing traditional oil testing equipment—automatic distillation range tester, automatic aniline point tester, and imported densitometer—to obtain known data. Combined with relevant GB/T and SH/T standard requirements, the instrument automatically processes and calculates a series of data to obtain accurate key indicators such as diesel cetane number, cetane index, and diesel index, meeting the technical requirements of national standards.

This instrument can directly determine gasoline octane number, octane index; diesel cetane number, cetane index, etc.;

It includes a built-in automatic standard density conversion program. Simply input the current actual temperature and the density at that temperature to calculate the standard density. If the mid-boiling point temperature of diesel is also input, the cetane index can be calculated, and the cetane number result is simultaneously derived.

The same applies to the diesel index: after directly inputting the current actual temperature, the built-in automatic conversion program for density at 15.6℃ allows input of the density at the actual temperature and the aniline point temperature value to obtain the diesel index and derive the cetane number calculation result.
