YJ-0678 Vaseline Drop Point Tester

This instrument is suitable for determining the drop point of white vaseline and yellow vaseline according to the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia vaseline drop point method, i.e., the temperature at which the first drop of liquid falls from the sample in the grease cup under specified standard conditions. This instrument is also known as a drop point meter and is specifically designed for the determination of drop points in white and yellow vaseline.

I. Main Features

1. The instrument mainly consists of an oil bath, insulation cylinder, heater, stirrer, illumination lamp, and control box. It offers advantages such as convenient control of oil bath heating rate, clear observation of sample drops, and the ability to conduct dual-tube drop point tests simultaneously.

2. The oil bath is composed of a high-temperature-resistant beaker, heater, and electric stirrer. The heating power is continuously adjustable, ensuring uniform temperature within the bath to meet testing requirements.

3. Designed as a benchtop structure, the instrument is compact, aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and comes fully equipped, allowing users to conduct tests immediately after purchase.

4. The instrument is equipped with a dedicated vaseline drop point thermometer, metal tube, metal sleeve, and metal grease cup to ensure accurate test results.

5. The latest model includes a specialized rack for vaseline drop point test tubes, making it more convenient for users to perform experiments.

6. Compliant with the 2020 Pharmacopoeia standards, the thermometer directly contacts and accurately measures the temperature of vaseline samples. During testing, the drop point thermometer directly contacts the sample itself, resulting in minimal temperature deviation and high sensitivity.
