I. Performance Features:

1. The YJ-5181A Drug Melting Point Apparatus features real-time temperature display and initial/final melting point recording keys, allowing users to record melting point values at both initial and final melting stages.

2. According to pharmacopoeia regulations for melting point determination, samples should be placed into the heat transfer fluid when the liquid temperature is approximately 10°C below their melting point, followed by heating at a constant rate as required until the sample melts. The YJ-5181A Drug Melting Point Apparatus includes a temperature preset function to maintain temperature control at the preset value. The preset temperature is saved upon shutdown and restored upon next startup. After reaching the preset temperature, a delay of about 1 minute ensures liquid temperature stability, accompanied by a buzzer alert. The initial and final melting point keys can be used to record values when the sample melts.

3. The YJ-5181A Drug Melting Point Apparatus operates in three states: reset state, temperature control state, and test initiation state. The initial and final melting point keys can also be used to measure the melting points of two samples separately—one recorded with the initial melting key and the other with the final melting key.
