YJ-0983E Automatic Pharmaceutical Penetrometer (with one cone)

The YJ-0983E Automatic Pharmaceutical Penetrometer (with one cone) is an automatic intelligent instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations stipulated in the 2020 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China "0983 Penetration Test Method" and the GB1790-2003 "Medical Vaseline" standard. It is primarily suitable for semi-solid substances such as ointments, eye ointments, and their common base materials (e.g., vaseline, lanolin, beeswax) to control properties like hardness and viscosity, thereby avoiding impacts on the spreadability of medications. Pharmaceutical penetration refers to the use of free-fall motion at 25°C, where a cone of a certain mass is released downward by the penetrometer, and the depth of penetration into the sample within 5 seconds after release is measured.

I. Main Features

1. The instrument mainly consists of a chassis frame, touch display, lead screw lifting system, constant temperature control system, cone linkage assembly, displacement measurement system, and other components.

2. Utilizes computer control technology to automatically complete penetration tests, with test results displayed automatically upon completion.

3. Features a touch screen human-machine interface for intuitive display, rich content, and convenient operation.

4. Equipped with an automatic lifting structure for stable and precise positioning. Uses knob encoder switches and lifting button switches, driven by a stepper motor to actuate the lead screw slider, enabling high-precision incremental adjustment for rapid lifting.

5. Integrated internal constant temperature water bath with cooling and heating functions. Employs semiconductor cooling technology and PID control algorithm, achieving temperature control accuracy of ±0.1°C, meeting national standard temperature requirements.

6. Designed with cold light source illumination for the cone, ensuring convenient and accurate cone alignment. The cone rod assembly mechanism is high-precision and quickly detachable, strictly complying with national standard specifications.

7. The system can store 200 sets of data, viewable directly on the touch screen or exportable via USB data transfer. It also includes a built-in 485 interface (MODBUS protocol) for real-time data networking.

8. Features self-developed computer control software for communication with computers, enabling penetration testing.

9. The main unit comes standard with one cone, with optional Cone I, Cone II, Cone III, sample cups, and an optional mini printer.
