Part-turn valve electric actuators are driving devices that enable valves to open, close, or regulate control. They are suitable for valves that perform 90° rotation, such as butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves, and dampers. 

Installation, Dismantling, and Precautions

8.1 There are no strict requirements for the installation form of this electric actuator. However, it is recommended to install it with the motor in a horizontal position and the electrical box cover in a horizontal or vertically upward position. This facilitates lubrication, debugging, maintenance, and manual operation.

8.2 During installation, ensure sufficient space is available for maintenance personnel to dismantle various components.

3 The bolts connecting to the valve must not be lower than grade 8.8.

4 When dismantling is required, first rotate the handwheel several times and proceed when the valve is slightly open.

5 During installation, dismantling, and debugging, do not damage the sealing surfaces, seals, or the explosion-proof surfaces of explosion-proof electric actuators. Apply anti-rust oil to the explosion-proof surfaces, and ensure the electrical cover is tightly closed to prevent rain or moisture from entering.

6 Avoid collision of the sight window with hard objects.

7 This electric actuator is designed for short-term operation. The continuous working time must not exceed the time specified on the nameplate.

8 When the valve is not used frequently, perform regular inspections, maintenance, and operational runs. It is recommended to do this at least once every 6.2   wiring months, with each run not exceeding 10 minutes.
