The 5503 is a compact, portable vibration calibration instrument. It conveniently and accurately tests and calibrates charge-output, IEPE-output, and voltage-output vibration sensors as well as vibration monitoring systems.

The 5503 has a built-in standard acceleration sensor, making it easy to determine the standard vibration level provided by the vibration exciter.

Both the vibration amplitude and frequency of the 5503 are continuously adjustable, allowing it not only to calibrate sensor sensitivity but also to serve as a continuously adjustable vibration source.

The 5503 comes with an LCD display that directly shows the standard vibration level and the output of the sensor under test.

The 5503 can be powered by either an optional built-in rechargeable battery or an external power supply. Its small size and light weight make it easy to use and carry, whether in the laboratory or in the field.

The 5503 has the following features:

l  Direct LCD digital display of the output from the sensor under test;

l  Fully independent, continuously adjustable calibration vibration source with direct display of standard vibration values;

l  Adjustable vibration frequency and amplitude;

l  Multiple sensor signal input methods, compatible with various types of output sensors;

l  Suitable not only for quickly calibrating the sensitivity of various types of sensors but also for providing a standard vibration source to monitor measurement systems in the field.
