Passivation Pre-filming Agent ZX-825

Passivation pre-filming agent is mainly composed of various complexing agents, dispersants, filming agents, surfactants, etc. The unshared electron pairs of oxygen atoms in organic complexes chemically adsorb with metal ions such as iron and calcium or iron atoms with partial positive charges, forming coordination bonds and producing a layer of insoluble chelate film that covers the surface of metals like carbon steel. This film has high resistance and isolates the metal from corrosive media in water, thereby inhibiting corrosion.

The passivation pre-filming agent features fast filming speed, fine and uniform film quality, good chemical stability, and low corrosion rate. It has strong adaptability to water quality and is not interfered by harmful ions such as copper and iron in water. Passivation pre-filming agent is mainly used for pre-filming heat exchange equipment and pipelines in new installations of circulating cooling water systems or after system maintenance, forming a protective film on the metal surface to prevent corrosion of materials such as carbon steel, copper alloys, and stainless steel during operation.

III. Usage Method

The dosing concentration of passivation pre-filming agent is generally 1000 mg/L. The pre-filming time is 12-24 hours under cold conditions and 8-16 hours under hot conditions. During pre-filming, the calcium ion concentration in water should not be less than 50 mg/L, and a pH of 6-8 yields the best results.

Packaging and Storage

Passivation pre-filming agent is packaged in plastic barrels, 25 kg/barrel or as required by the user. It should be stored in a cool, dry place with a storage period of ten months. A small amount of precipitation may occur after long-term storage, which does not affect its use.

Safety and Protection

Passivation pre-filming agent is neutral. Pay attention to labor protection during operation and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
