Basic Reverse Osmosis Membrane Scale Inhibitor ZX-817

is a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency scale inhibitor specifically developed for reverse osmosis (RO) systems. Practical use has proven its effectiveness in controlling the following types of scale: calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, calcium fluoride, silica, and iron. It can control the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) in the concentrate stream up to 3.0, with Fe³⁺ content at 1.5 mg/l and silica content at 185 mg/l.

Application:

Continuous dosing into the feedwater before the membrane system. The typical dosage is 2-6 mg/l, depending on water chemistry, membrane type, and system operating parameters (such as recovery rate, temperature, and pressure).

Dosing should be continuous. It is recommended to dose the concentrate directly at the maximum frequency of the metering pump. Alternatively, it can be diluted with RO permeate or demineralized water, with a dilution factor not exceeding 10.

Handling Precautions:

Wear latex gloves, protective goggles, and protective clothing. If splashed into the eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek prompt medical attention. Prevent spills on cement floors to avoid corrosion. If the floor is affected, rinse immediately with water.
