ZX-216 Normal Temperature Phosphating Paste (Four-in-One Type)

1. Scope of Application
Suitable for phosphating and rust prevention treatment on metal surfaces such as large equipment, petroleum drilling tool threads, and explosion-proof surfaces of coal mine electrical appliances.
2. Main Features
Convenient storage and transportation, simple process, easy operation, no heating required, energy-saving, good stability, minimal pollution, free from harmful substances such as NaNO2, NaNO3, NaF, and Cr6+. The gray-black phosphating film is dense, continuous, and uniform, meeting all environmental protection requirements with low comprehensive processing costs. Each kilogram can treat 10-20 square meters of surface. The paste is very easy to rinse off—washes away with a single rinse.

4. Process Flow
Remove heavy oil stains and rust (light oil stains may not require treatment),
Apply phosphating paste
Rinse with water
Dry

Apply rust preventive oil or rust preventive wax, or proceed directly with spray coating.
5. Usage and Precautions
5.1 If the workpiece has heavy oil stains or rust, remove oil and rust first (light oil stains may not require treatment). If the paste is too thick for easy application, add a small amount of water to facilitate brushing. Generally, a thin layer is sufficient, depending on the specific condition of the workpiece.
5.2 After application for a period, a dense gray-black phosphating film will form on the metal surface. If further treatment is needed, rinse off the phosphating paste with water, dry, and then apply paint or rust preventive wax/oil. Alternatively, after drying and cleaning the phosphating paste, apply paint directly without rinsing. If no painting is intended, the phosphating paste does not need to be removed and can provide rust prevention for over a year. When painting is required, clean off the phosphating paste before application.
5.3 The phosphating paste is highly acidic. Use protective measures during operation. If it contacts the skin, rinse immediately with water. Seek medical attention if discomfort occurs.
6. Packaging and Storage
Packaged in 30kg plastic buckets. Store in a cool, dry place. Take care to prevent breakage and leakage.
7. Precautions
Handle with care during loading and unloading to avoid breakage and splashing into eyes. Wear protective equipment (such as acid-resistant rubber gloves and work clothes) during preparation or use. If contact with skin or eyes occurs, rinse immediately with water.
