Product Features

Nano tungsten oxide is prepared by high-frequency plasma vapor phase combustion method, featuring high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, clean surface, no residual organic impurities, low bulk density, and easy dispersion. Nano tungsten oxide exhibits gas sensitivity and is used for detecting gases such as carbon dioxide and ammonia. Tungsten oxide thin-film gas sensors and nanoparticle sensors have been developed, with the discovery of nanosensors significantly enhancing the detection of low-concentration gases.

Application Fields

1. Nano tungsten oxide is used in various applications in daily life. It is often employed in industrial X-ray screen phosphors and fire-resistant fabrics for manufacturing tungstates. Due to its rich yellow color, nano tungsten oxide is also used as a pigment in ceramics and paints;

2. Nano tungsten oxide has been utilized in the production of electrochromic windows, or smart windows. These windows are electrically switchable glass, with light transmission properties changing with applied voltage. This allows users to tint their windows based on changes in heat or light levels. Another application is in high-density inert metals, with notable use of these devices during the 2008-2009 conflict between Israel and Gaza;

3. Nano tungsten oxide is partly used in the production of chemical products, such as paints and coatings, and catalysts for the petroleum industry. However, tungsten oxide is an intermediate product, with large quantities used to produce tungsten metal powder and tungsten carbide powder, which are further used in the production of tungsten metal products. It is also widely applied in the production of tungsten alloy products, such as tungsten-copper, tungsten-nickel, tungsten-nickel-iron, tungsten-silver, tungsten-rhenium, and tungsten-thorium. In modern industrial fields, the most widely used are various grades and applications of hard alloy products based on tungsten;

4. Nano tungsten trioxide is used in solar absorption materials and stealth materials, semiconductor materials with excellent gas-sensitive properties, and catalyst materials with special catalytic performance. It is also used to produce ultra-fine tungsten powder and fire-resistant materials, as well as a coloring agent for ceramics.

Packaging and Storage

This product is heat-sealed in aluminized bags and should be stored sealed in a dry, cool environment. It should not be exposed to air for extended periods to prevent moisture-induced agglomeration, which may affect dispersion performance and usage effectiveness.
