Nano zirconium carbide FEN is prepared by aerosol ablation method, featuring high powder purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity, low apparent density, high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high strength, high hardness, good thermal conductivity, and good toughness. Product Applications

1. Nano zirconium carbide is used in fibers: Different zirconium carbide and silicon carbide FEN contents and addition methods affect the near-infrared absorption performance of fibers. When the zirconium carbide or silicon carbide content in the fiber reaches 4% (by weight), the fiber exhibits excellent near-infrared absorption. Adding zirconium carbide and silicon carbide to the shell layer of the fiber results in better near-infrared absorption than adding them to the core layer.

2. Nano zirconium carbide is used in new thermal insulation and temperature-regulating textiles: Zirconium carbide has the properties of absorbing visible light and reflecting infrared rays. After absorbing short-wavelength energy below 2μm, which accounts for 95% of sunlight, it converts the energy into heat and stores it in the material. It also reflects infrared wavelengths above 2μm. The infrared wavelength generated by the human body is about 10μm. When wearing textiles containing Nano-ZrC, human infrared radiation is less likely to dissipate outward. This indicates that zirconium carbide has ideal heat absorption and storage properties, making it suitable for use in new thermal insulation and temperature-regulating textiles.

3. Nano zirconium carbide is used in hard alloys, powder metallurgy, abrasives, etc.: Zirconium carbide is an important high-melting-point, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant high-temperature structural material. Its excellent characteristics make it highly applicable in hard alloys, improving strength, corrosion resistance, etc.

4. Nano zirconium carbide can be used in coatings as a high-temperature-resistant coating to improve the surface properties of materials.

5. Zirconium carbide (ZrC) as a modifier for carbon-carbon composite functional materials: Used to modify carbon fibers, it significantly enhances the strength, fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and high-temperature resistance of carbon fibers. Modified carbon fibers have been tested and shown to surpass international standards in various indicators. They are widely used in the modification of aerospace carbon fiber materials with very noticeable effects.

Packaging and Storage

This product is packaged in inert gas-filled plastic bags and should be stored sealed in a dry, cool environment. It should not be exposed to air to prevent moisture-induced oxidation and agglomeration, which may affect dispersion performance and usage effects. Packaging quantities can be customized according to customer requirements, including sub-packaging.
