Lined butterfly valves employ lining technology on the flow-passing components such as the valve body, disc, and stem, uniformly coating them with a layer of fluoroplastic. This makes them resistant to corrosion from any medium except "molten alkali metals." They feature a compact size, light weight, flexible operation, and easy installation.
