Working Principle Overview
Under the action of external excitation force, the grinding media perform a throwing motion that alternates between dispersion and aggregation. The grinding media rotate in the same direction individually, while the media group undergoes revolution. The inner and outer layers of grinding media continuously exchange positions, and pairs of media constantly collide, compress, and shear the material, causing it to be crushed and cut. Particles are progressively broken down from larger to smaller sizes. During the crushing process, larger particles bear force first and are crushed first.
From the working principle, it can be understood that for particles composed of plant cell groups, whether formed by large cells or small cell clusters, as long as their overall size is comparable, their chances of being compressed and impacted are equal. That is, in the process of crushing medicinal materials, whether large or small cell clusters, if their overall dimensions are similar, their probability of being crushed is the same.
