HBJ-50 insulating self-fusing tape is a rubber tape with excellent conformability, high insulation, and suitability for voltage withstand levels up to 500kV and below. It is an electrical material that requires no vulcanization, offers stable performance, and provides excellent insulation properties. It can meet emergency overload requirements for protected conductors and conductor connections, with an emergency overload temperature of up to 130°C.

Usage Instructions

Remove the release film from the self-fusing tape, stretch it by approximately 200%, and wrap it in a half-lap manner around the area requiring insulation or waterproof sealing protection. (Note: When the tape is exposed to air, an additional layer of PVC adhesive tape should be wrapped on the outer layer as a protective coating.) Under cool and dry storage conditions, the shelf life is 30 months.
