The pulley steel gate is a type of steel gate that achieves opening and closing through a pulley support structure, primarily used for flow regulation and water pressure control in fields such as water conservancy and municipal engineering. Its core structure includes the gate leaf, pulley system, and sealing device, featuring a compact design and flexible operation.
Structural Composition
The pulley steel gate mainly consists of three parts:
Gate Leaf Structure: Utilizes a lattice cross-section design, composed of a load-bearing frame, traveling support, and rubber waterstop device. Medium and larger gates are typically assembled in sections;
Pulley System: Includes main wheels, side wheels, and counter wheels, employing oil-impregnated nylon sliders (with a friction coefficient one-third that of steel) to reduce friction;
Sealing Device: Foam rubber strips are arranged around the perimeter, with forward sealing performance controlled within 0.72 liters/(minute·meter).
Material and Anti-Corrosion
The main material is Q235B low-carbon steel or 304 stainless steel. Surface treatment includes sandblasting to Sa2.5 cleanliness, hot-dip galvanizing with a zinc layer thickness ≥120μm, and anti-corrosion treatment with epoxy coal tar pitch paint.
Applicable Scenarios
Widely used in river management, hydropower station water diversion, urban flood control, and municipal engineering (such as diversion control in sewage treatment plants), particularly suitable for medium-sized hydraulic scenarios with a head ≤8 meters.
Maintenance Points
During installation, ensure embedded part errors ≤3mm. Apply lubricating grease every six months during operation, and replace the rubber waterstop every three years.
