Mobile hoists are mechanical equipment used to control the lifting and lowering of gates. They can move along tracks and operate multiple gates, featuring the characteristic of one machine serving multiple purposes.
Types
Based on the movement direction of the lifting device, they are categorized into unidirectional movement (moving only left and right along the dam face line) and bidirectional movement (capable of moving along the dam axis as well as upstream and downstream directions). According to the structure of the moving frame, they are divided into trolley type (main lifting mechanism installed on a trolley with walking wheels at the bottom) and gantry type (main lifting mechanism installed on a gantry frame).

Lifting capacity: 6-125 tons (standard type), some bidirectional models can reach over 5000 kN
Lifting height: Standard types are mostly 140-145 meters, while high-lift models can reach up to 17.5 meters
Operating speed: Lifting speed is typically several meters per minute, with rapid gate closure speeds reaching tens of meters per minute
Structural Features
They adopt a winch-type structure, equipped with components such as motors, reducers, and drums. Trolley types travel on top of gate slots or concrete bents, while gantry types move only on the top plane of the gate. Some models can be fitted with rotating cantilever hooks or manual cranking devices.
Application Scenarios
Suitable for reservoirs, rivers, and water conservancy and hydropower projects, they can operate flat and radial gates, while also providing installation, maintenance, and gate locking functions. Bidirectional models can also be used for synchronous operation of multi-gate systems.
