I. Purpose
This machine is suitable for the dehydration of wet waste such as household garbage, water hyacinth, fruit peel pulp, plastics, chemical waste, discarded vegetable leaves, and materials containing long fibers, aiming to reduce the moisture content and volume of the pressed materials, as well as minimize the odor and land occupation generated during the incineration and landfilling processes.

The middle part of the machine body is equipped with a feed box. The material to be dehydrated is fed into the box, and the juice pressed out by the screw flows through the screen cylinder into the juice collection tray, then out through the juice outlet pipe. The dehydrated residue cake is discharged from the outlet at the end of the screen cylinder.

The working process of this twin-screw press is as follows: the conveying screw pushes the material entering the feed box toward the pressing screw. Through the reduction of the screw pitch and the increase in shaft diameter of the pressing screw, and under the resistance of the screen wall and the conical body, the liquid content (such as fruit juice) in the material is squeezed out. The squeezed liquid flows out through the screen holes and is collected in the juice collection hopper. The pressed residue is discharged from between the end of the screen cylinder and the conical body. The rear part of the conical body is equipped with a spring. By adjusting the preload force and position of the spring, the discharge resistance and the size of the residue outlet can be changed to regulate the dryness of the press. The 5, 10, and 20 T/H presses are equipped with twin screws rotating in opposite directions, providing large and uniform pressing force on the material. The residue outlet conical body is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder. Adjusting the oil pressure can change the pressing effect on the material and adjust the juice yield. This machine can also be used for solid-liquid separation of other materials, with varying effectiveness depending on the material quality. The feed box, screen cylinder, and screw of this machine are all made of acid and alkali-resistant 304 stainless steel.
