I. Purpose
This machine is used for solid-liquid separation operations involving certain fibrous or viscous materials. It is suitable for dehydration or juice extraction of materials containing certain fibers, such as fermented grape pomace, ginger, spinach, rubber, Chinese herbal medicine, winter jujube, tea leaves, etc. It is also used for continuous juice extraction of sea buckthorn berries that have been destemmed or contain a small number of small branches. The sieve holes are specially manufactured according to the size of the material.

II. Working Principle and Structure
This machine adopts a spiral pressing method. The working process is as follows: the conveying spiral pushes the material entering the feed box toward the pressing spiral. Through the reduction of the pitch of the pressing spiral and the increase in shaft diameter, and under the resistance of the sieve wall and the conical body, the liquid content (juice) in the material is squeezed out. The squeezed liquid flows out from the sieve holes and is collected in the juice receiving hopper.
The pressed pomace is discharged from between the end of the sieve cylinder and the conical body. The rear part of the conical body is equipped with a spring. By adjusting the preload force and position of the spring, the discharge resistance and the size of the pomace outlet can be changed to adjust the dryness of the pressing.
The feed box, sieve cylinder, and spiral of this machine are all made of 304 stainless steel.

IV. Installation Preparation
1. This machine needs to be placed on a flat ground.
2. Check whether all parts are intact and undamaged, and whether all fastening bolts and screws are loose.
3. Add sufficient lubricating oil to the reducer (refer to its user manual), add grease to the transmission box, and add an appropriate amount of lubricating grease to the bearing seat.
4. Connect the power supply, jog run, and pay attention to whether the rotation direction of the spiral is correct. Run idle for 30 minutes to check whether there are any abnormal phenomena or noises in the rotating parts and whether the operation is stable.
5. Before feeding, clean and dry the parts that come into contact with the material, and ensure that the machine is effectively grounded to prevent electric leakage accidents.
V. Use and Maintenance
1. Before feeding, close the conical body and the discharge outlet, and appropriately adjust the preload force of the pressure spring through the nut. After the pomace skin forms resistance, check the pressing effect, and then appropriately adjust the compression degree and position of the spring to achieve satisfactory pressing results.
2. During feeding, prevent foreign objects and other things from entering the machine. Pay special attention to removing impurities with a diameter exceeding 8mm to avoid damaging the sieve cylinder. Feeding should be as uniform as possible to achieve better results.
3. At the end of pressing, the spring should be loosened in advance so that the conical body moves under the push of the pomace, and the subsequent pomace will not be compacted, making it easier to clean. When not used for a long time, clean the inside of the machine thoroughly, and apply lubricating protection to parts prone to rust.
4. The transmission system, transmission parts, bearings, etc., should be regularly lubricated with oil or grease. During operation, pay attention to ensure that the temperature rise does not exceed 35 degrees Celsius above room temperature.
