I. Application

This machine is suitable for dehydrating wet waste such as domestic garbage, water hyacinths, fruit pulp, plastics, chemical waste, discarded vegetable leaves, and moisture-containing waste with long-fiber materials. It effectively reduces the water content and volume of the pressed materials, minimizing odor and space occupation during incineration or landfill processes.

This is a movable single-screw continuous dewatering machine. It consists of a frame, transmission system, feeding section, dewatering section, hydraulic system, protective cover, and electrical control unit. The screw is driven by a motor via a gear reducer. Material is conveyed and dehydrated by the screw, with the pressed material forming a residue column at the outlet barrier gate to achieve dehydration.

The machine features a feed box in the middle. The material to be dehydrated is fed into the box, and the expressed juice flows through the screen cylinder into a collection tray, then out through a discharge pipe. The dehydrated residue is discharged from the outlet at the end of the screen cylinder.

The working process of this twin-screw press is as follows: the conveying screw pushes the material from the feed box toward the pressing screw. With the decreasing pitch and increasing shaft diameter of the pressing screw, and under the resistance of the screen wall and cone, the liquid content (e.g., juice) is squeezed out. The expressed liquid flows out through the screen holes and collects in a juice tray. The pressed residue is discharged from between the end of the screen cylinder and the cone. The cone is equipped with a spring at the rear; adjusting the spring's preload and position changes the discharge resistance and the size of the residue outlet, allowing control over the dryness of the press. The 5, 10, and 20 T/H models feature counter-rotating twin screws, providing strong and uniform pressing force. The residue outlet cone is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder; adjusting the oil pressure alters the pressing effect on the material and the juice yield. This machine can also be used for solid-liquid separation of other materials, though results may vary depending on material quality. The feed box, screen cylinder, and screw are made of high-quality acid- and alkali-resistant 304 stainless steel.
