Usage Method of HFJ-5 Geological Exploration Gas Desorption Instrument
1. Invert the instrument, unscrew the water filling port plug, block the water outlet and air inlet with fingers, fill the inner cylinder of the instrument with water above the thread, expel the bubbles inside the cylinder, then tighten the plug, upright the instrument, and release the fingers.
2. Place the instrument on a platform or hang it up, insert the needle into the coal sample canister, then connect the hose to the air inlet to start the desorption measurement. At this time, as gas enters the measuring tube, water is discharged through the drainage outlet.
3. If the range is insufficient, clamp the hose with a clip, disconnect it from the instrument's air inlet end, refill with clean water as described in step 1, then reconnect the hose and release the clip to continue the measurement.

Precautions for HFJ-5 Geological Exploration Gas Desorption Instrument
1. Do not expose the instrument to liquids that corrode plexiglass.
2. To maintain the surface smoothness and transparency of the instrument, avoid scratching the surface as much as possible.
3. Air leakage test: Fill the instrument with water as described in step 1 of the usage method, let it stand for 1 hour. If bubbles leak in and cause the water level to drop, it indicates air leakage; if air leakage is found, locate and address the leakage point.
