Two Models of KZB-3 Air Compressor Over-Temperature Protection Device Available

     The KZB-3 Air Compressor Air Receiver Over-Temperature Protection Device is a reliable assistant for the safe operation of air compressors. It effectively monitors and controls the operating temperature of the air compressor, preventing the air receiver from overheating and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the equipment. This device is available in two models: dial type and LCD version.

This device consists of the main unit, temperature sensor, power cable, connection components, control cables, etc.

The installation steps for the over-temperature monitoring device are as follows:

Step 1: Main Unit Installation: Install the KZB-3 Air Compressor Air Receiver Over-Temperature Protection Device indoors, protected from rain, snow, and corrosive gases, and supply it with AC220V power.

Step 2: Temperature Sensor Installation: First, remove the pressure gauge installed on the air receiver. Connect the straight-through end of the connection component to the pressure gauge port of the air receiver. Then, connect the removed pressure gauge to the side port of the connection component. Finally, connect the temperature sensor to the other straight-through end of the connection component.

Step 3: All the above connection points are threaded seal connections. When connecting, wrap sealing material between the male and female threads. After completing the connection between the temperature sensor and the air receiver, connect one end of the temperature sensor data cable (aviation plug end) to the temperature input interface on the rear panel of the KZB-3 Air Compressor Air Receiver Over-Temperature Protection Device.

Article 434: The protection of air compression equipment must comply with the following provisions:

(1) The exhaust temperature of screw air compressors must not exceed 120°C, and the exhaust temperature of centrifugal air compressors must not exceed 130°C. Temperature protection devices must be installed to automatically cut off power and sound an alarm in case of over-temperature.

(2) The temperature inside the air receiver should be maintained below 120°C, and an over-temperature protection device must be installed to automatically cut off power and sound an alarm in case of over-temperature.
