The removal of bags from shiitake mushroom cultivation sticks is a process in the shiitake mushroom industry. Currently, the removal of bags from edible shiitake mushroom cultivation sticks is done manually, as there is no specialized equipment for this task. For large-scale shiitake mushroom cultivation industries, the demand for manual labor is high, leading to increased costs. Although some design companies have developed equipment for removing bags from cultivation sticks, due to immature technology or design flaws, the efficiency has remained very low, and the waste rate of damaged sticks is high, resulting in significant resource wastage. As a result, this equipment has not been widely adopted, and manual removal is still the norm. The development of equipment for removing bags from cultivation sticks has seen little progress and remains in a very primitive state. Manual removal is labor-intensive: an operator holds the cultivation stick with one hand and a cutting tool with the other. The tool is used to make two cuts in the plastic layer of the stick, and then the plastic layer is torn off by gripping the sealed end of the stick. Finally, the mushroom spawn is removed, completing the bag removal process.
