Heavy oil and high-pour-point crude oil in crude oil have "poor physical properties." During extraction and production, as crude oil moves from the oil layer through the tubing and pipelines to the gathering and pumping station, heat loss causes the crude oil temperature to drop below the critical flow temperature. This leads to wax deposition, a sudden increase in viscosity, and a significant drop in flow pressure, making extraction difficult. "Thermal recovery" uses a heat source along the extraction and transportation process to exchange heat with the crude oil (heavy, waxy, pour-point) via a carrier, compensating for heat loss and overcoming the above issues to achieve smooth extraction.
I. Working Principle:
The self-regulating heating cable heating system, when powered, automatically adjusts its output power inversely along the pipeline direction according to the temperature gradient with well depth. It supplies heat through the outer wall of the tubing to the inside, maintaining a constant temperature along the line to reduce viscosity, resolve blockages, and increase pump efficiency. The core of the heating cable consists of three sets of PTC heating cores made of conductive polymer PTC functional material, processed via extrusion and radiation. Each point can inversely adjust its output power according to the temperature changes of the heated system, achieving automatic compensation, adjustment, and control.
