Solar street lights are powered by crystalline silicon solar cells, store electricity in maintenance-free valve-regulated sealed batteries (gel batteries), use ultra-bright LED lamps as the light source, and are controlled by an intelligent charge and discharge controller, serving as a replacement for traditional public electric lighting street lamps.

The solar street light system can ensure normal operation for more than 15 days even in overcast and rainy weather! Its system consists of an LED light source (including driver), solar panel, battery (including battery insulation box), solar street light controller, street light pole (including foundation), and auxiliary materials and wires [1].

Solar cell modules are generally made of monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon solar cells; LED lamp heads usually use high-power LED light sources; the controller is generally placed inside the light pole and features light control, time control, overcharge and over-discharge protection, and reverse connection protection.
